The Pierson River House is considered to offer one of the most spectacular views of beautiful Cane River and downtown historic Natchitoches of any bed and breakfast in the city.

   The Pierson River House originally was the home of Dr. Will Pierson, a beloved and endeared founding physician of Natchitoches, and his family.

   Having been opened as a bed and breakfast in 2001 the Pierson River House has recently been refinished and upgraded to a new level of riverside luxury and comfort.

   The owners, David and Maria Teresa Lee, are happy to have returned to Natchitoches. David, a Plastic Surgeon in Houston, Texas, claims Natchitoches as his home town and grew up a few blocks from the Pierson home, directly down Sirod Street (named after Doris, spelled backwards, Dr. Pierson's wife). Maria Teresa, involved in real estate and ranching in South Texas, is a new time Natchitoches convert and fell in love with the city the first time she visited. Melanie Lee, David's sister, an Interior Designer, lives full time in the home as the On-Site Property Manager and Events Coordinator.
